I never imagined myself eating scallops this way. I dunno exactly the style of cooking. But from the looks of it, it's like kinilaw na talaba (oyster). The sauce is oriental, with clear, thin noodles and lots of red chilli and spring onions. I tasted the sauce first and it was delicious. Actually, the sauce is just a bonus! The scallop itself is superb. :p

Ate this at Crystal Jade Kitchen Holland Village. What's so cool is that it only costs a dollar! This was because our bill exceeded 50sgd. Lovett!

I Love Marron Cream!

Yes, this not-so-popular Sanrio character is my favorite way back high school. I am not a pink color fanatic but I think during that time, I want to veer away from common popular Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars, My Melody and Kero Keroppi.
Marron Cream was born on May 31, 1985 at Paris, France. A very birght and cheerful little rabbit with good fashion sense, good with handicrafts and making delicious sweets. (Courtesy of Sanrio site).
I don't have much Marron Cream stuffs. I only have a collection of Marron Cream stationeriesckers from Japan, and stia couple of handkerchief (from Tayne), a pen, a cotton buds dispenser (from Tayne as well), A4 size fillers, Multi-colored notebook and a key chain. I turned over my stationery collection to my nieces, the rest is still back home.
There are a lot of characters that emerged over the years but whenever I pass by specialty stores and Sanrio shops, I try to look for Marron Cream stuffs. But no luck for me.. Maybe someday I will be able to travel Japan (wishful thinking) and buy even just one Marron Cream item to rekindle my liking to it. :)
